London's Best Gelato

Cold, refreshing and available in some inspiring flavours; Gelato’s having a moment and we’re getting involved.

One lick of the subtly sweet blood orange sorbet got us excited. Just the sight of the fresh mint stracciatella secured them on the edit. And the final spoonful of their dairy-free dark chocolate sorbet – which was bitter, rich and unashamedly indulgent – secured them the spot as winner of Food Edited.’s best gelato in London.

Gelateria 3Bis

Order the sweet, nutty Noccolio ice cream with a second scoop of the mint chocolate gelato. Definitely get it in a cone. Definitely say yes to the liquid hazelnut/milk chocolate poured into the bottom. That’s provided, of course, you don’t chomp off the bottom first. This is no cornetto, you’ll get messy.

With a craving for something unashamedly sweet make sure to order the nutty, creamy peanut butter whip and utterly indulgent crème brulee soft scoop. The latter tasted so authentic if it hadn’t been frozen and bright yellow we wouldn’t have known the difference.
